Stainless steel 321 needle valves are made of SS 321, an austenitic steel alloy containing 17-19% chromium, 9-12% nickel and 0.8% titanium. It provides excellent corrosion resistance, especially against intergranular corrosion at elevated temperatures. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 515 MPa, a yield strength of 205 MPa and a hardness of 217 HB.
